"Paesaggio" means landscape in Italian, and that is exactly what architect Michael Graves captured when he painted his "Industrial Landscape" mural. The Markuse Corporation/Projects, a Bedford-based company, offers a version of Graves’s work copied onto silk. Graves’s projects include the Humana Building in Louisville, Ky., the Clos Pegase Winery in the Napa Valley, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels in Orlando, Fla. The "Paesaggio" scarf is 60-by-13 1/2 inches, with a hand-rolled edge; it is available at http://projects-us.com, or at 781-275-5777.
A stroller you never have to stow
The Sit 'n' Stroll by Safeline Kids Inc. is lightweight, holds children up to 40 pounds, and converts in seconds from a stroller to a rear- or forward-facing car seat. It’s FAA-approved for use on airplanes, too. No need to juggle carry-on bags, baby, and car seat as you wait for the stroller at the baggage claim; just get off the plane and walk down the concourse. It makes for a super booster seat in restaurants, too. The 2003 version features a brand-new latching system and a five-point adjustable harness, so even the most wiggly babies will be safe and secure. It costs about $200 (which includes a baby pillow, but other accessories, like the mesh stroller bag, are sold separately). The Sit 'n' Stroll is available at The Baby Place (50 Worchester Road, Natick; 508-653-0959); at Safe Beginnings (800-598-8911; www.safebeginnings.com); and online at Boston-based www.shoebuy.com (look for Safeline Kids in the "luggage" section); www.strollerdepot.com; www.strolex.com; www.netkidswear.com/sitnstrolbys.html; and www.pc-u.net/sitnstrolllatch.html.
Holds everything but the lint
Pockets are to many men what purses are to many women; unlike purses, though, pockets generally need to be emptied at the end of the day, no matter where you are. Magellan's travel tray is a great solution for those who routinely misplace their coins, keys, and other small items. It lies flat in the bottom of your bag; snap the corners together and it turns into a 7 1/2-inch-long, 5 3/4-inch-wide, 1 1/2-inch-deep basket for holding your sundries. Made of cotton, it weighs only 2 ounces. Available for $9.85 through the Magellan's catalog (800-962-4943; www.magellans.com).
